Khentin Tai Situpa was one of the four regents of the Kagyu Lineage and perticipated in Thrangu Rinpoche and Khenpo Tsultrim’s first shedra at Rumtek. He speaks fluent English and has been teaching for 40 years, but unfortuantely very few of books in English are available in English .

The Aspirational Prayer of Mahamudra is one of the most quoted texts on Mahamudra. Thrangu Rinpoche quotes verses from this text often to explain how one examines the mind. This is because it is a song of realization of the Third Karmapa which is only 25 verses long and is very profound and covers the whole path of Mahamudra. In this book Tai Situ Rinpoche, one of the most prominent Kagyu masters, explains each verse extremely lucidly in a text that is over 70 pages long.
