Khentin Tai Situpa was one of the four regents of the Kagyu Lineage and in Thrangu Rinpoche and Khenpo Tsultrim’s first shedra at Rumtek. He has been teaching he speaks fluent English and has been teaching for 40 years, but very few of books of his teachings in English are available.

 We are now offering five of these books in PDF form of this extraordinary teacher.

The 21 Tara Practice is very well-know and practiced by all lineages in Tibet. This practice came from India where Tara was revered for protecting people from harm and is practiced in the morning in may Dharma centers.

In this book Tai Situ explains the practice and then devotes a few pages to each of the 21 different aspects of Tara. He not only gives the text in English of each of the 21 aspects, but also accompanies this with a line drawing the Tara and gives a few pages of explanation of what the fear or disturbance that is tamed by the particular Tara.

This PDF of 177 pages is an exact copy of the book. It includes 21 line drawings of each of the 21 Taras and the verses for the practice.
