Nagarjuna, the founder of the Middle Way school and author of many texts on emptiness which became the foundation of the Rangtong view in Tibet. However, in this text he actually presents the opposing Shentong view. 

Khenpo Tsultrim, an exponent of the Shentong view gives a very illuminating commentary on this text by Nagarjuna.
