The Six Paramitas are a important teaching in Mahayana Buddhism. The are six steps which one must go through in order to reach enlightenment. They are Generosity, Marality, Patience, Diligence, One-pointed Concentration, and Developing Wisdom.

The famous Bodhisattva Way of Life and many other books on Mahayana Buddhism have used these six important qualities one needs to cultivate to become a Buddha as basis of thier teaching. Here Thrangu Rinpoche explains these qualities in a practical manner in four one hour videos. He gave these teachings in Rhode Island (in US).
