A new original teaching by Thrangu Rinpoche on the Tibetan classic by Padampa Sangye's One Hundred Verses. Padampa Sangye is best known as Machig Labrang's teacher, the famous yogini who developed the widely practiced Cutting-off or Chod Practice.
This work has been featured in this year's Tricycle magazine and very inspirational with Thrangu Rinpoche clearly explains the meaning of these short 100 verses. For example, verse 77 is "The delusions of samsara and nirvana are just like encounters with an enemy. Practice virtue as your friend and ally, people of Dingri."
"This great text of one hundred profound instructions by the most revered mahasiddha of the noble land of India. Padampa Sangye contains all one needs to know if one aspires to follow the Vajrayana path. And now this timeless volume is made all the more relevant and accessible through an especially illuminating commentary by the Venerable Kyabje Thrangu Rinpoche, who in my mind is one of the most learned and realize beings here with us on earth.--Dzigar Kongtrul, Rinpoche
