Khentin Tai Situpa was one of the four regents of the Kagyu Lineage and perticipated in Thrangu Rinpoche and Khenpo Tsultrim’s first shedra at Rumtek. He speaks fluent English and has been teaching for 40 years, but unfortuantely very few of books in English are available in English .

 The book entitled Primordial Essence Manifest is actually a book on the process of preparing for and then dealing with the process of dying and rebirth which in Tibetan is called the Bardo.

 The book begins with the obvious fact that we all die and why many individuals are afraid of death. There are actually six bardos and the first three bardos—the bardo of living, dreaming, and meditation are actually the most important ones because it is here that we can prepare for death and actually turn it into a rare opportunity to reach enlightenment at death. Tai Situ Rinpoche then goes on to explain exact the process of dying of what happens to the body and then what the dying person actually sees and experiences. Then Tai Situ explains the five strengths and gives the qualities of the five buddha families and the book includes some pictures of the most important elements of the bardo deities.
