This book is a translation of one of the five Maitreya's Treatises which is on the sutras of the MIddle Way. It also includes commentaries on this text by Khenpo Shenga and Ju Mipham. It was trasnlated by the dharmachakra Translation Committee. 

The teachings of the Ornament are a true classic, and through the ages this treatise and its perceived intent have been studied, contemplated, interpreted, and practiced in countless ways by numerous brilliant minds. Hence, the literature that is based on, and inspired by, the Ornament is also extremely rich, having developed across the centuries throughout south, east, and central Asia, as well as, more recently, across the globe.
